DELICIOUS LESSONS
For over two years, a diverse group of cooks gave weekly cooking lessons in the Volkskrant. All carefully selected professionals with a distinctive character, a good story and a special specialty. Each one a top performer in his or her field. This led to a diverse series of original recipes. From focusing on vegetables to cooking with organs, waste or wild meat. From modern Surinamese cuisine to Dutch cuisine and Spanish tapas to trendy cocktails.

A selection of the best episodes from 'Lessen in Lekkers' has now been bundled. Thirteen interviews and ninety recipes, as idiosyncratic as they are beautifully captured by photographer Rein Janssen, who has turned photographing food into an art. With contributions from Niven Kunz, Jonathan Karpathios, Dick Soek, Cees Holtkamp and Ramon Beuk, among others.
